  • Arrivals & Departures by Appointment Only Our hours for departures and arrivals are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.. However, we prefer that your dog checks in no later than 4 p.m so that it gets a chance to know the other furry guests before retiring to the Dog Lodge for quiet time.

The Cozy Mountain Pet Resort overlooks the Pemberton Valley on a gentle mountainside slope and is located just over 30 minutes north of Whistler.

Follow the Sea to Sky Highway (99) through the Pemberton Valley (straight through the lights [Petro Canada and McDonald's on corner) as you enter Pemberton- NOT left into Pemberton).

Follow the Highway through the Pemberton Valley for 5 kilometers where you will reach the lower part of the old village site of Mt. Currie. Follow this road through Mt. Currie (towards Birkenhead Lake Provincial Park - there is a sign on the corner, Anderson Lake,  D'Arcy, (do NOT turn right towards Lillooet at the Church to stay on 99- just go straight through Mount Currie Village).

  • You will see Lil'wat gas on your left and a set of railroad tracks as you leave the small village.  Reid Road is roughly 3.5 kilometers past the railroad tracks- watch for a sign on your left for Walkerville, Reid Road is less than 1/4 kilometer further.  Look for the sign for Reid Road and/or Ivey Lake Lodge.

Reid Road only heads left.  Turn LEFT onto Reid Road and head up the mountain for about 1.4 kilometers.

Look for the Cozy Mountain Pet Resort sign at 1812 Reid Road on the LEFT hand side of the road.

Please read the sign in the driveway for specific instructions. Please walk straight ahead down driveway towards the back of the property, though the first gate (there won't be any dogs behind the gate), and then to the doggy lodge, which is behind the main house and our residence. Please knock and wait for us to open, as we may be in the middle of something like feeding or preparing a dog for check-out.

As difficult as it is (Michelle still cries every time we need to leave Karma behind!), we ask that you simply leave your dog with us in the front area of the dog lodge and allow us to introduce your dog to the pack. Dogs tend to act quite differently around their owners and it tends to make the event much more stressful and difficult on your dog if you are with your dog in the pack. We are also not allowed to have human guests in the back area with the dogs; you can see the entire area on your way in and out. Let them go play with their new friends!
